Dr Adam Richardson

Adam qualified as a Dentist from the University of Manchester in 2017, and then completed foundation training at Pearldent in South Manchester before relocating to London.  He worked in mixed NHS and private practices and since returning from the first Covid lockdown has consolidated to one practice in Earlsfield. Adam focusses on enhancing his skills as an astute clinician and so building positive relationships with patients. Adam enjoys all aspects of dentistry, taking great pride in his ability to help patients overcome their anxieties with a calm and relaxed chair-side approach.

In September 2021, Adam emigrated to Auckland, New Zealand to deliver the highest levels of patient care here.  He regularly attends courses to extend and consolidate his knowledge. He completed the London College Post Graduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy and focuses on Invisalign therapy. In 2021, he completed a year-long Advanced Restorative Dentistry course with Aspire Dental Academy and was awarded the PG Certificate qualification that goes with it. He obtained the MFDS qualification in 2019. In 2022, Adam completed advanced training in ‘Managing Tooth wear‘, a gradual and destructive process, whereby patients grind their teeth down without knowing it.

Adam has travelled to Calais twice to volunteer in the Jungle and with a charity called Care4Calais, using his First Aid skills to help, clothe and feed migrants struggling at the French border.

“This experience has given me a greater perspective on the importance of effective Prevention and the availability of emergency dentistry.  Outside of dentistry, I am a keen sportsman. You might see me cycling to work on my Brompton or running home, training for my next marathon. At university, I was President of the Dental School Golf Society and I have a handicap of 11. I am a Leeds United fan.  I will be delighted to see you at Caring 4 Smiles soon.”
