At Caring 4 Smiles in Epsom, we provide a large number of Invisalign treatments to give patients their ‘Dream Smile’. There is nothing complex about choosing a plan that suits an individual patient and so we take this opportunity to explain costs and the plans we provide. Most patients fall into 2 categories.

Invisalign Treatment Plans

Our Auckland Invisalign Treatment can be either a “Lite” case or a “moderate” or “Full” case.  A ‘lite’ case treatment can be completed using 14 or less aligners.  A Moderate case required 26 aligners, while in a ‘full’ case, the treatment needs unlimited aligners due to the complexity of treatment. Each aligner is worn for 1 – 2 weeks and then replaced with the next aligner in the treatment sequence.

At the end of Phase 1 of the treatment, we find that the human body may not have responded as well as planned and so a ‘refinement’ phase with more aligners is needed. In a lite treatment, the refinement is at an additional cost while in the full treatment the patient can have unlimited refinements at no additional charge. Gradually, the teeth are moved into their correct position.

Lite treatment is therefore reserved for minor corrections in the front teeth which can be achieved quickly. The full treatment is for most cases where the corrections of crooked teeth would need more work and then refinement tweaking at the end.

Invisalign Fees in Auckland

Lite & Moderate treatment : from $6000 – 8000 including GST
Full treatment: from $9500 including GST

At the end of treatment, the patient will be required to wear retainers to hold all the teeth in their final / corrected position for 9 – 18 months. Based on what a patient selects as a retainer appliance, the cost can vary from $ 650 – $ 950 incl. GST, for both jaws.

There are no hidden costs or fees at our practice. Check-ups, x-rays, fillings, and gum treatment are part of routine dental work and attract our standard fee. Prior to starting Invisalign treatment, the patient must have a tidy mouth with no fillings needed or all fillings completed.

Currently, Caring 4 Smiles is running a ‘Free Invisalign Consultation’  for anyone considering Invisalign to get a great smile.

More About Invisalign

Invisalign is a modern approach to straightening teeth that uses clear plastic aligners to correct issues with the bite rather than the traditional system of brackets and wires. Many patients opt for Invisalign over braces because they appreciate that the aligners are virtually invisible, but there are many other advantages of Invisalign to consider as well.

Because aligners are made with thin plastic that fits flush against the teeth, Invisalign is more comfortable than traditional metal braces, which can cause irritation to the soft tissues in the mouth. You’ll also find that Invisalign disrupts your life very little, as you can remove your aligners whenever you need to eat, brush, or floss. That means no foods are off-limits and your oral hygiene habits won’t be impacted in any way. Best of all, Invisalign is just as effective as orthodontic braces. There are no compromises when you choose Invisalign, only benefits!

During your free Invisalign consultation, we will look at your teeth, assess your bite, and review your dental history. This information allows us to determine whether Invisalign is right for you and whether your treatment will be a Lite, Moderate, or Full case. Your dentist will discuss your expectations for your treatment and go over the details of what you can expect from the Invisalign process.

The next step is taking photographs and digital impressions of your smile. With these impressions, we create a three-dimensional model of your teeth and jaw, which we use to plan the precise movements of each tooth as you progress through your sets of aligners. We can even show you a preview of what your teeth will look like once your Invisalign treatment is complete.

Once your dentist plans your treatment, this information is sent to Invisalign, where your aligners are fabricated. When they arrive back at our office, your treatment begins! As you switch to a new set of aligners every two weeks, you’ll be that much closer to your beautiful new smile.
